“But
one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I
press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me
heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 3:13b-14). Even though Paul was serious
about finishing well as a Christian, he never lost the joy of the journey of
faith. What Paul says in Philippians 3:12-21 helps us understand why. We invite
